Friday the 13th

Guardian angels, do they exist? I believe that one was watching over my brother two days ago.

On Friday the 13th.

He was in a car accident where the car flipped over and landed on the roof. Luckily he was alone in the car and no other cars were involved. He only got a little scratch on his hand by the crushed glass, and by hitting the brakes he saved the life of the hare causing it all by finding this exact second a great timing to cross the road…

There is not much left of the old Ford Fiesta though, but who cares when Tim is safe and sound. I cannot thank my lucky star enough that my dear little brother got back home to Jessica all ok.

It is terrifying to suddenly realise that this kind of things may indeed strike your own family as well, not only others. I normally find the unpredictability of life something positive, but here’s a scary example that fate strikes whenever, and in any way, it feels like. We have to live in the present and show our loved ones how much we care about them as often as possible - tomorrow can be too late…

But this is a lucky story after all, and I guess that Friday 13th is a day of luck, considering the 2009 March edition.
